What You Do
At synQup, you will work with cutting-edge technologies. Your tasks include:
- Designing and developing microservices for web applications and mobile apps
- Creating REST APIs as cloud-native applications (e.g., on Microsoft Azure) or with common container technology
- Integrating backend systems
- Connecting databases
- Ensuring quality through unit, system, and integration tests
- Responsibility for agile development, release, and deployment processes (e.g., Git workflow, Continuous Integration, etc.)
- Developing secure and scalable systems
You will also encounter interesting tasks in the areas of DevOps and testing with the latest technologies. For example, you might create additional modules/integrations or ensure the core is even more enjoyable for future developers and users.
What You Bring
- At least 4 years of professional experience in software development
- At least 2 years of experience with GoLang
- Experience in developing data structures and algorithms, as well as with Linux and containerization of applications
- Good knowledge of well-known data exchange formats, APIs, RPC, and possibly knowledge of web/API frameworks
- Experience with databases (relational/non-relational), e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL
- Experience with modular architectures, microservice architectures
- Experience with parallelization, concurrency, scalability
- Preferably good knowledge of agile development methods like Scrum and Kanban
- A passion for clean coding and continuous skill improvement
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
