What You Do
At synQup, you work with the latest technologies. Our application consists of advanced and interesting components such as PHP8, Symfony, Redis, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, VueJS, and Quasar. Your tasks include:
- Designing and implementing high-performance and scalable import and export modules
- Interface and data-driven programming
- Interaction with third-party systems and exchange formats
- Further development of our Symfony-based application focusing on reusability and sustainable product development
- Experimental tasks (prototypes, PoCs, etc.)
There are always interesting tasks in the areas of DevOps and testing with the latest technologies. For example, you might create additional modules/integrations or ensure that the core brings even more joy to future developers and users.
What You Bring
- A successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable education
- At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development
- Expertise in Symfony or comparable PHP frameworks (service containers and Composer should not be foreign concepts)
- Concrete experience with Symfony is advantageous (e.g., in caching, Doctrine DBAL/ORM/ODM, other third-party packages like api-platform)
- Experience with distributed systems and message queues
- Experience with parallelization concepts (e.g., locking, fan-out and fan-in, synchronization)
- User experience with Docker (you should be able to help yourself if a container suddenly doesn’t start or two containers can’t communicate)
- A passion for clean coding and continuous skill development
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
